THANKS!

I just have to share something with you that I noticed the other day -- a graph of my hits from StatCounter (Google analytics is always WAY higher than this one -- anyone know why? Most of the time double what StatCounter says.)

Anyhoo -- it was pretty amazing. This is the growth of my little old blog from the date of my No More Mondays back in July to my post to yesterday:

Pretty amazing. Thank you so much.

I'm so excited about this year -- I am so fortunate to have the adverstisers I do (some new great ones coming soon!) and I'm so grateful to have them. So many fun events are coming up too -- I'm planning my Indy Home Show presentations now and am getting excited about that. My friend Beckie and I are planning a fun bloggy get together we'll tell you about soon. And if you are going to Blissdom or Blogher I'll be there and I'd love to meet you! (Ack, did you hear about Harry Connick Jr. singing at Blissdom?!)

Oh, and I just found out NKOTB are performing in NYC this summer, so you may have to hear me drone on and on about them again this year if we can snag some tickets for that. (If anyone has peeps at Radio City Music Hall let me know!!) ;)

Just a couple months ago I was able to be somewhat timely with my responses to your emails and questions, but December really threw me for a loop and I'm trying to catch up. If you have emailed me, I will respond this week -- I apologize for the delay.

My computer time is limited because of a three foot, dimpled cutie patoot who is always my priority and doesn't really get the whole blog thing. ;) But I will get caught up this week, I am determined.

So again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for giving me No More Mondays.

  4. Hi, Sarah! I just started reading Pro Blogger (the book) recently. My sis gave it to me for Christmas b/c she knows I really want to learn how to grow my blog....Anyways, they mentioned that Google and Stat Counter both have very different ways of measuring hits/visitors, etc., thus giving you a very different report. Hope that helps! :)

I don't know if you'd have time to link up to my Decorating Dilemmas Party tonight or tomorrow (Dilemmas and Solutions welcome), but I'd love your feedback on my Dilemma if you have a minute. I'll post tonight. :)

I still love your blog, and I always look forward to your posts. You are a lucky lady to be so successful...I envy you. ;)

  7. I just have to tell you that I recently found your blog and I have gotten so much inspiration and ideas from you. I am in the process of copying your dining table centerpiece (such a great idea!). I am copying your Ballard design shelf idea for our master bedroom too.

I have to say that I am a big NKOTB fan too and was equally excited that you had music of theirs on your blog:) I went to both concerts on their last 2 tours (that came to Seattle) and I so wish I could go to New York in June to see them (or the cruise in May;) but I just can't justify traveling without my boys for a band, lol!

    Thanks for the inspiration!

  8. Great job!

I am still learning about statcounter. Is that the number of page views per day, or week, or month? I get so confused with the graphs!

  12. Does Google include the people who read the posts via Reader? 'Cause I totally blog stalk you, but do so through GoogleReader, so I'm not sure if I'm included in the numbers that way.

  13. Wow, congrats on the hits!

My Google Analytics always shows less hits that my StatCounter or my StatPress (My blog is based on WordPress). I read somewhere that a lot of people block google analytics (I know I do.), so maybe that's the reason for some of my differences.
