Just because I like you…

**This giveaway is now closed. The winner was contacted via email.

Hey there! Hope you had a lovely week and an even lovelier weekend planned. We’re about to get slammed with more rain but like always I’m thrilled about that cause I love rainy, dark days, I know…weird. :)

Anyway, I’m in the giving mood this weekend, so I’m offering up a bit ‘o shopping in the form of a $100 True Value gift card to one of you:

Just because I like you. And True Value does too. We really do. ;)

You can go here (click on “participating stores”) to see True Value locations near you.

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment here. Share your latest DIY project, or maybe one you have planned? Or don’t…just say hi, I’m not picky. But please do leave an email address if you don’t have a blogger account I can access. (Spell out “at” and “dot” to avoid any potential spammy stuff.)

Hope you have a great weekend! I’ll be finishing up a few little projects I started this week – can’t wait to show you!

**This giveaway ends Monday, September 10 at noon EST!

  2. Hi Sarah,

I'm just about to pin some of my Pinterest feats and flops. But you should know at this very minute I am making your Crockpot Chicken and Wild Rice soup. (I have a sick 8-year-old at home) and was hoping this would be a soothing treat tonight! :)

  23. I've got your blog on my list of favorites I like to check every single day. I love your tips and projects and like that it's just that much different than the other design blogs.
My current project is a big one, I
ve taken down all the doors on my kitchen cabinets and am sanding and restaining them all. I figure it will probably take me about a year and 1/2, but maybe I can get it done a little faster.
I spent labor day weekend doing tons of projects including repainting and changing the hardware on a door, making a rolling base of a large flower pot out of leftover wood and wheels that came with a file cabinet. A little shelf for my laundry room and then worked some more on my cabinets.

  146. I'm working on a new project. I bought letters of all my kids names, painted it black. Then I'm going to hang their names up on the walls with one big photo of each child in black and white. I can't wait to see how it turns out. The hard part is getting a good pic of each child! They don't stay still very long...

  157. I guess I am weird, too. I love rainy days...especially when there is thunder and lightning involved. I am one of the very few people who lived in the PacNW and was perfectly happy with rainy, grey days! It is sunny here at the moment (and warm & humid) but they promise a cold front is coming tomorrow so that means RAIN!

  178. HI

I am starting to focus on indoor projects as we launch into fall...I would love to add molding to our eat bar. Right now, it's just drywall and the kids dent it/get it dirty when they sit up there and their feet kick against it. SO ready to have board and battan there.

True Value is the ONLY store for such projects where I live, in Coos Bay OR. So...this is just perfect for us!!

    Thanks
