Hello all! Oh my, I was SO GLAD to read your responses to my last post. That’s why I love this big bloggy world – so many of us with the same messy houses who experience the same things and can share and vent about them.
I am happy to announce I am blogging tonight from my pretty much, almost there, decluttered basement. It’s a bit chilly down here tonight, but I couldn’t resist. ;) The electrician is coming tomorrow to do a few things, and I hope to get some fun stuff done this weekend. I will do my best to show you the transformation next week! (Check out this post from last year. Just imagine the “after” much more like the “before” – again.)
I have a great giveaway planned for tomorrow, so tonight I wanted to take the chance to remind you about the upcoming Goodwill Shop & Hop.
It’s only nine days away, so if you are interested in joining us, let us know soon! Miss Beckie from Infarrantly Creative and I are planning to hop around to five Indianapolis area Goodwill locations on Saturday, March 13. We would luuurve if you could join us!
We have a few surprises for those lovely ladies joining us -- each shopper will receive a “swag bag” stuffed with over $100 worth of merchandise courtesy of:
Love your blog... Wish I was closer
ReplyDeleteOh, to live closer on that day. How much fun you ladies will have.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a ton of fun. I am sure y'all will share a lot of laughs. I wish I could come. Meanwhile I will shop at my Goodwill here. Also, we have the best "neighborhood store". You would absolutely love it! It's bigger than our Goodwill and has a lot more things. When I was there last week I thought of you, I saw so many things that you would love to redo. That sounds funny I know because we've never met, but I was sure you would like all the furniture and the prices are also better than Goodwill too!! Y'all have fun on your thrift store trip!
ReplyDeleteI signed up with a friend and cannot wait! What a great goodie bag too! This is going to be so much fun !
ReplyDeleteAww. I so wish I lived closer. That sounds like so much fun. Can we join in with pictures from afar? LOL.... Except our very local Goodwill is a horrid one, you know - smelly, dank & yuk! I have to go to Mobile (40minutes) to get to the good one! Yall will have so much fun!!!
ReplyDeleteWish I lived closer. Our Goodwill is overpriced compared to the local church run thrift stores but I periodically check it out.
ReplyDeleteArgh...everything is taking forever to load...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, going shopping today. We have a place in Chattanooga called, Southeastern Salvage. You'd die! It's awesome!
Oh how I miss Indy! The new super Goodwill Outlet opened up AFTER we moved...would love to visit! Have fun ladies!
ReplyDeleteI have been hit by the sick bug this week and haven't read one blog. Trying to catch up this morning. I wish I lived a little closer. I am a couple of hours away but I would love to go shopping with yall. Yall are pros at it:)
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.

ReplyDeleteI SOOOO wish I could shop and hop with you guys, but it's a couple of hours drive from here. :( I sure hope you guys have blast though! I want one of those swag bags cause I've been wanting dischangers for forever! Too bad for me. LOL

I, too, wish I could go-- or even submit a wishlist.
ReplyDeleteMy DD is being discharged from the Marines overseas due to injury and will be in need of lots of wood pieces (she has the refinishing/painting bug) to outfit her first apartment. Unfortunately, the Goodwill here (50 miles away from any other...) is overpriced and has nothing to offer besides. Arrgh.
I, being a thrifty decor chick myself, have been hoarding things for her like mattress and box spring, and kitchen items, but no kitchen table and chairs, bedframe, night tables, etc. Boy, do I need a GOOD Goodwill!
Our town usually holds an annual "cleanup day" in the spring, but this year won't. (?) So I can't even curb shop. :(
VAYA CON DIOS, my sisters-in-the-spirit!
Could you tell me exactly what "Infarrantly" Creative means on your little blue medallion? I've never heard that one before.
ReplyDeleteOOPs, sorry. *duh*
ReplyDeleteI live in Carmel!! I am so close but going out of town! Please do it again!! Have fun..
