OK, I’m just gonna to say it.
I’M READY FOR FALL.
I’m nuts about it, and I’ll shout it from the rooftops! (Or I guess, from this blog.)
Football, turning leaves, pumpkin patches, marching band, crisp temps.
Hot cider.
Pumpkin pies at McDonalds.
YUMMO.
Focus Sarah.

Sigh.
I’m ready. :)
So there you go – start thinkin’. Heat up the glue guns. Put on a sweater. Make some pumpkin pie.
What’s your favorite part about fall? Are you ready?

I salivate over your Fall pics. While we've hardly had a summer here where I live, I am ALWAYS ready for Fall! The picture of that entryway gave me chills. SO EXCITED!!
ReplyDeletelOVE the apple candles...totally doing that this year! Need to also become a member of pintrest :)
ReplyDeleteNo-I'm not ready for fall because it means my baby is TURNING ONE! :( Boohoohooo!!!
Wendy :)
I will be there with bells ON! I need to focus too Sarah, I get all giddy inside just thinking about it!
ReplyDelete1) I can't wait for fall!
ReplyDelete2)Those apple candles rock.
I'm sooo ready for fall--and ready for a lil Autumn Link Party!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
Fall is definitely my favorite season. It really is the best time of the year. Thanks for sharing that foliage photo. It made my heart's wings flutter.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait!! Fall is my favorite time of year!! Martina
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you.I don't know how many consecutive days we've had over 100 degree days..something like two months already!! I am desperate for fall, the turning leaves, cooler temperatures, the oranges and browns...you name it! I can't wait to join some of these parties....
ReplyDeleteHope you can tough out these last few weeks of summer!
-april
Oh me too! I am SOOOOO ready for fall!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try and find something link party worthy for these dates! So excited!
xoxo
I think I am ready too, partly because I have had autumn since June already... yep, no real summer this year in this part of the world, mostly rain, and rain, and mud... and rain again :/ But no complains, hahaha. Love your inspiration photos, Sarah. Btw, are any new people welcomed at the linking parties as well??? I might try to create something, who knows, :):):)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for the weekend:)
I cannot wait til FALL it has been so hot and no rain where I live. I'm even ready for the snow anything but the heat bring it on!!!
ReplyDeleteYay, can't wait for the parties!! I've seen all the things you and Kate have been pinning lately and thought something was up. heehee But really, I am not ready for fall. In Canada that means we have two weeks of fall, then the trees lose all their leaves, and then it starts snowing for 5 months!! Really, we could easily have snow by the end of Sept. or early Oct. and it doesn't stop until the end of April or early May. I HATE it!! That being said, I do love cider and the colors of Fall. Can't wait to join the parties! Have a great weekend. Did you get your deck done yet? : )
ReplyDeleteI know fall is on it's way because I bought candy corn today! Hey, that unintentionally rhymed ; ) I can wait to break out my fall stuff. I tried to convince the Hub that fall starts at the beginning of August, but that didn't work. So, September 1st is my Fall-o-rama day... I can't wait : D
ReplyDelete~Kristin
Love your blog...am definitely looking forward to the Autumn Link Parties...will have to put your button on my blog this weekend to stir up my followers...
ReplyDeleteFall is definitely my favorite time of the year...being in the deep South we're still enduring the 100+ degree heat...looking forward to at least 80+...that's Fall for us...
Already started on Fall crafts...just finished a large Fall rag wreath...promised Hubby not to put it on the door until Sept. 1...

I love the colors of Fall!
ReplyDeleteBUT, I'm not ready To say Goodby to Summer yet. It's my favorite season, and it's no where near over in the South.
Still having *100+ temps.
Ohhhhhhh did you REALLY just post this?! The last couple of days I've been craving fall weather, it's been 5-10 degrees cooler than the last month or so. Fall is by FAR my favorite season. I might have to break out my fall-scented candles once the hubby goes to work on Monday... ;)
ReplyDeleteFall is my FAVORITE time of year and I can't wait!! What is this magical goodness you speak of, a McD's pumpkin pie?! I've never seen one!! I'm in LA so maybe it's regional?! I can't imagine why those things wouldn't be sold around the country...!
ReplyDeleteDidn't know you were on pinterest--I really should've guessed that one!--but I'm going to follow you on there now too. :)
sooo excited about fall. I love everything on your list (except the football =). Can't wait to wear slippers again, and make yummy squash soups with crisp french bread. Yum. Oh and apple pie for dessert, of course.
ReplyDeleteYeah! I can't wait! I also love Pinterest! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love the apple candles! They are adorable. How long do you think they last?
ReplyDeleteI live in FL and it's over 100 degrees here everyday right now. I've been saying for weeks that I cannot wait until Autumn!! For all of the reasons you described but my favorite is putting on a sweater and going for a walk in my neighborhood and hearing the dry leaves rustling on the ground (well the few that we get anyway) and the crisp air. Since we don't have 4 seasons, which I was used to having in Canada, it gets me super excited. I am a huge PUMPKIN fan, love pumpkin pie! Can't wait to see all the fun projects! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been craving fall since July 1st. Can't we start fall now? Pretty please?
ReplyDeleteI am one of those sweltering people waiting impatiently for fall! And pumpkin pies at McDs? How did I not know about those?
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should do a linkup with fall food?!
I've already started buying stuff to decorate for fall also - it's my favorite time of year. Can't wait to see all of your ideas!
ReplyDeleteYippeee! I cannot wait for this!
ReplyDeleteI so want to jump into that photo with the trees, leaves and the trail! *sigh* Fall is my favorite and I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteWe're on the same page! I've really started longing for fall in the past few days. It's my absolute favorite season and this is the second fall I'll be living in Maryland - which I'm convinced is the best fall place. Apple picking, hiking through the changing leaves, pumpkin picking, cider making, slipper wearing, crisp weather - ahhh - I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty much always ready for fall, especially with football season starting now :). I think my favorite part is Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI just spotted these velvet pumpkins in a store today and thought "I'm ready for fall"!!!! Must be catching!
ReplyDeleteLove the flower pumpkins!

No, I don't know the person who makes these, but they're really cool!
I LOVE fall. Gorgeous colorful leaves, the smell of spice and pumpkin, I just love it!
ReplyDeleteI've been collecting fall stuff on pinterest too. I'm so ready. And I've been secretly thinking about Christmas too :)
ReplyDeleteFall can't come soon enough for me! I can't wait for the fall linky parties to begin! I took out my fall goodies today and will start early...I can't help myself! LUV pumpkin spice latte's at Starbucks!
ReplyDeleteI am so ready! I posted about Halloween last week!
ReplyDeleteMcDonalds sells pumpkin pie? Who knew! I love, love, love fall. I'm obsessed with pumpkin beer, bread and cupcakes. I'm going to go light a pumpkin candle right now to get myself ready!
ReplyDeleteI am sooo ready Sara! I was driving down a country road and pretending the dead trees that are turned yellow are the beginning of fall as I swelter in this Texas heat wave. :)
ReplyDeleteIm so glad that you are in the same frame of mind as myself. I LOVE fall and began thinking about it months ago. Sweaters, leaves, cool weather, football.......I LOVE IT ALL!!!! Your blog / website is so incredible...I check it everyday asap. I have gotten some really great ideas and have already implemented some of them. Thank you for thinking the way I do (lol)
ReplyDeleteand for doing it on a budget.
My facebook picture is a porch decorated for fall, had it up for a while......cant come soon enough
ReplyDeleteGosh, I can't wait for fall! Especially after seeing your photos. I am absolutely going nuts just waiting for the cooler temps & pumpkins to start showing up! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, and I too am raising my hand for Christmas. Maybe a little more than just slightly...
Me, too! Me, too!!
ReplyDeleteI just posted abt that the other day! I even pulled out some fall-ish things. My husband laughed at me, but I don't care! I really can't wait for Fall to officially arrive (which is later for me, since we live in Arizona - lol. Summer doesn't even end until darn near October for us!).
I love fall, too, and was just thinking of you when I sensed it in a cool morning breeze the other day!
ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favourite season. I am so ready for it!
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready for fall temps, now just need to start thinking of fall projects.
ReplyDeleteCome by and enter my pillow giveaway !
What a welcome respite from heat, heat, and more heat. I live in AZ and we don't really get fall weather until late November. Since I LOVE LOVE fall decorating, I put it out the beginning of September.... even with the still 100 degree days. Then I crank up the air in the house, light a pumpkin candel, and wala... it's fall in AZ!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see all the inspiration.
Last week our temps were in the 100+ (we are down to the mid-upper 90s in MS) and I am so ready for fall I may scream with you! :) I have already contemplated putting my fall decorations out now so maybe the weather will take the hint. haha I am thinking fire pit (smores!), football parties, hay rides, pumpkins. I have been secretly thinking about Christmas too! :)
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love fall decorating, I am so NOT ready for it! Summer is my favorite season. It just doesn't last long enough here in northern IL. I will be waiting at least another month until I drag out the fall decor!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn pictures; though, summer temperatures will stay with us in this part of the world way into October ~ Alexandra
ReplyDeleteNot ready, Not ready. It can stay summer forever as far as I am concerned. I will be celebrating the last 5 weeks( aug 14 till sept 21) that are left of summer with all the hot gusto I can muster. Five whole weeks I still get to enjoy the ocean, and the beach, and boating, kyaking, shelling, summer dresses, toes in the sand. sunrising on the water. No rakeing piles of leaves, no gas heat, no cold dreary rain, no digging in the attic for sweaters and jeans. Not ready.
ReplyDeleteAs Hoosiers living in Florida our falls are now pretty lackluster. We usually go swimming on Halloween :(
ReplyDeleteYou're "Fall Y'All" made me think of a little joke, what's the plural of y'all? All y'all!
Wait a minute--we haven't had summer yet in the northwest
ReplyDeleteyay!! i am totally in! already searching ideas of what fun to do this year!!
ReplyDeleteFall means a San Diego trip in our House-woohoo!
ReplyDeleteI CAN'T WAIT FOR FALL!!! WOOO HOOO! Love those apple candles by the way!
ReplyDeleteYAY! Love this post! I have been ready for Fall!! I love it!! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish fall was 6 months out of the year versus winter :( I have a rule that I can't put out any fall decor until the calendar says September. It's like the rule about not wearing white shoes after Labor Day, but not really.
ReplyDeleteI'm in perpetually sunny Phoenix, and on this particularly hot day, it was nice to see the autumn inspiration here. I think it even just got a little cooler in here! Nope - just the AC kicking on... again. Thanks for sharing!

Your McDonalds has pumpkin pies??? I am jealous!! I am about ready for fall too....it officially starts for me the day Starbucks sells Pumpkin Spice lattes :-)!
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to read you post! I LOVE fall as well and have been craving some diy fall decor. love that candle idea! reminds me of one year we carved out itty bitty pumpkins and put in taper candles.
ReplyDeleteThat first photo is so beautiful. Our hot weather usually breaks around Halloween, and we really don't have a "fall". We are able to turn of the a/c and open the windows on or right after Halloween during the day, a few weeks sooner during the night only. Halloween usually signifies the start of the new season for me, even though we don't actually see autumn colors in the desert. We do see them in our home though. I begin decorating for fall around the 2nd week of October until right after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your fall post! It's such a beautiful time of year...who can resist it? And August is not too early to get started! :)
ReplyDeleteI really know what you mean about being ready for fall. It has been so very hot this summer here in Florida. Your fall pictures are beautiful. They made me feel a little cooler. I love the entry way picture. I have french doors in my new house and would love for it to look that beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteim so excited, living in florida we dont really get the change of seasons but i still go all out for fall:)
ReplyDeletei will have to come visit your awesome site to help get me in the mood:)
I’m in. **doing a little jig**, I’m in!!
ReplyDeleteI’m a biased fall winter girl at heart and from the very end of august I was restless to bring out my fall décor. I was literally restraining myself as where I live, fall is not showing yet- I’m guessing it will be another week or two till it starts showing itself, but your fall pics and enthusiasm absolutely got me. I’m fall-ing for good! Thank you so much for sharing
