2023 Thrifty Decor Chick Christmas home tour!

Welcome to a tour of our home decked out for Christmas! If you missed it, you can see our whole basement holiday tour here

Now it's time to take a look around the rest of the house. :) As always, I'll try to add links to project and items that may be helpful. Otherwise, if you have any questions, please let me know in the comments.

I found this sweet ceramic village at Costco this year and couldn't pass it up. It was perfect for our foyer table:

I shared all about that long Everett table here and the many ways I've decorated it over the years.

The Christmas village is so pretty all lit up!:

In our powder room I decorate the DIY shelf and that's about it. I found all of these cute little trees in the Target dollar spot a few years ago:

They go with the colors in that beautiful wallpaper perfectly.

I love this simple tray display on our kitchen island. There's a pretty candle, our cookie jar and a little tree in the front:

And our hand and dish soap bottles on the back:

Party in the front, business in the back. ;)

I built these heavy duty floating shelves a few years ago and I LOVE decorating them for Christmas. I display our Christmas cards up there too:

I turned this spot into a beverage station -- the wine glasses are easy to reach and my husband loves his coffee station:

I added some cute little wreaths to the back of our island stools -- they are so festive!:

The little reindeer over the stove are just wood cut outs from the craft store. I use sticky putty to hang them on the tile backsplash:

Here's a view I don't share often -- from our kitchen into the dining area:

This year I added some garland and twinkling lights above our window seat wall in the dining area:

I wrapped floral wire around the ends of some pine cones to create a little bundle in the middle:

That peace on Earth sign is one of my favorites -- I found that at a craft fair years ago.

I went with some simple glass candleholders filled with snow and a candle for the dining room buffet:
glass hurricanes with candles and snow

Last week I shared all the different ways I've decorated those simple glass hurricanes over the years. They are so versatile!

A friend of mine had these pretty light up branches in a vase and I LOVED them! They are battery-operated and come with a remote:

I added some greenery and red berries from Hobby Lobby as well:

So fun! I may keep those branches out all winter.

I swear a room needs during the holidays is greenery and candlelight. You'll be set with just those two things!:

Our family room is the piece de résistance every Christmas. Other than our basement, it is by far our favorite spot.

All of the animals included:

Twilight is my favorite time of day in here. It is so warm and cozy:

I don't change up the decor on the built in bookcases next to the fireplace, but I did add a few little holiday touches on the tall green cabinet in the family room:

snowmen taper candles

Those snowman taper holders were from Target -- so cute!

I shared all about our 10 foot realistic Christmas tree last year. It is a STUNNER, and I can't even tell you how many times I've been asked if it's real:

These "Foxtail" pine Christmas trees are so gorgeous. If you're thinking ahead to next year, keep this one in mind!

I shared how I create a layered and full Christmas mantel with you a few years back. I use the same method every year, but sometimes change up the symmetry of it:

Those brass reindeer were a Big Lots find -- I love them!

Our stockings hang with some long ornaments on the other side of the mantel:
garland and berries on mantel
See how to build a wood frame for your TV!

I always add a couple strands of battery-operated twinkle lights to the greenery on the mantel. They are on a timer so I never have to mess with it:

I did the same garland on our stairs this year as last. I love how the greenery looks along the base of the stair balusters instead of on top of the railing!:

I think I'll do that every year, I just love how it looks. We always add candles and little ceramic village houses to the steps. They are simple but oh-so-pretty!

I hope you enjoyed this holiday decor tour! I had a LOT of fun decorating the house this year. I started earlier than ever and highly recommend it.

It has been wonderful to really enjoy the decor all season instead of stressing about getting it up.

If I don't talk to you before -- happy holidays, Merry Christmas and have a wonderful and safe new year! I am so thankful for you all!
