Summer decor staples to get that relaxed, timeless Nancy Meyers charm.
I'm a sucker for the Nancy Meyers look any day of the year, but especially in the warmer summer months! Her designs are timeless and fresh, and are the epitome of this more relaxed season.
When you really break it down, Meyers' style is based in the classics -- soft color palates, natural textures and vintage accents that when mixed, create her effortless, lived-in look.
Blue is my absolute favorite color for decor or paint in a room, and summertime is the BEST time to incorporate it. Especially in combination with materials like rattan, metal accents and beautiful patterned fabrics.
I've gathered a bunch of Nancy Meyers inspired decor that will work year round, but is especially pretty in the warm summer months! I did my best to find classic pieces that didn't lean too coastal themed.

Fresh fabrics and patterns
I adore the green, blue and white fabric on this tissue box cover...so cute!:
This beautiful tablecloth has the same colors, perfect for a summer tablescape:
The quality of these tablecloths is excellent -- I purchased a different design last year, but the colors weren't quite right for what I needed. I was so impressed with it though!
Changing up a lamp shade is a great way to lighten things up for the warmer season:
I have throw blankets around the house all year, but it's always nice to have one for cooler summer nights on the patio:
These blue and white printed pillow covers are the perfect dusty blue, so pretty!:
Serene color and natural textures
This 16-piece scalloped dinnerware set is so pretty! It comes with salad and dinner plates as well as two bowls for each setting:

Blue scalloped dinnerware set
How gorgeous would this set be paired with the tablecloth I shared above?
Textures are key for achieving the Nancy Meyers aesthetic. I love having baskets around the house for magazines, pet toys and blankets:
A blue and white chinoiserie look is a classic summer staple that works all year round:
It would be pretty storage in the pantry or on a bathroom countertop!
These real touch hydrangeas look incredible. We can't grow blue hydrangeas (without changing the ph in the soil) in Indiana, so I'm a sucker for them:
A classic rattan tray works both inside and out -- the handles are a must for entertaining:
I was shocked at the price of this sweet side table:
It comes in three different finishes, but I think the white is perfect for a screened in or covered porch.
These beaded strands are absolutely beautiful in person, and the gorgeous blue tone is perfect:
They are great displayed on a stack of books, or in a pretty decorative bowl. This color is just one of many options!
Classic metals: brass and silver
I've never considered silver to be "out," but it has definitely become more popular in home decor lately:
I find that brass compliments the fresher, lighter summer tones just as well though! This gold bamboo picture frame is beautiful:
These wall frames are similar and come in a TON of different prints! I picked three of the pretty blue florals to share with you.:
The Nancy Meyers look is rooted in the classics, but the added vintage touches are what take her style to the next level. These gold floral pulls are so unique:
And these vintage inspired brass hooks would be a beautiful accent in a mud room or pantry:
Classic lighting
Layered lighting is another key component to a timeless Nancy Meyers look. A combination of table lamps, sconces and overhead lightning really pull her looks together.
This French Country ginger jar lamp looks like it belongs on the set of Something's Gotta Give:
These brass sconces with wicker shades are another favorite of mine:
They are so versatile and can be plugged in or hard wired. I hung these over the bed in our bedroom and they are fantastic for night reading:
I'm not sure I could go back to bedside table lamps!
Now I would never suggest you change out a wired light fixture just for one season. Thankfully these beauties are classics all year -- this milk glass and brass pendant is stunning. If only I had a place for it!:
And I think this lantern is a timeless addition to any room, but especially in an entryway or over a kitchen island:
These are all giving me the fresh summer feels -- I find all of these colors and textures to be so relaxing and soothing. Perfect for the slower summer days!
