God Bless blogging...but it has created a bloggy butt on this Chick. Seriously...I say I've gained ten pounds in the past year...
But really. It's only been since, maybe October, when I really got into the blogging stuff. That's what, FIVE MONTHS?
Sick, I tell you. So this is how I spend

Next week, I start on this monster again:
I'm sceeeeered!!!
P.S. Your comments on my last post made ME all weepy. So sweet!!
P.P.S. I met one of my bloggy friends today! I can't wait to tell you about it. I also picked up an Easter/springy craft I will show you this weekend.
You go girl!! The most recent NKOTB album is awesome for running. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed your hubby lets you spray paint in there...I have to wait for nice weather, but the spray-paint bug always hits me when it's raining!
ReplyDeleteI was supposed to go to the gym tonight, but did I get there??
ReplyDeleteNooooooo
I was then going to go work out on my Total Gym in my room, but Nooooooo my hubby had to be all sick and stuff up in the bed.
So the bloggy butt keeps growing :(
new kids on the block...lol! ;)
ReplyDeleteI know of what you speak. I've been slacking in the exercise department lately and sitting at the computer all day isn't helping. But, I'm not giving up and I'm glad you're not either.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I went to the gym yesterday after a loooooon break. Mostly due to blogging!!!
ReplyDeleteROFL THAT is one reason why I deleted my blog! I spend so much time looking and reading y'alls and never really knew what to say and ON TOP OF THAT I was getting a major chair butt, LOL. I'll still be keeping up with you though and you go girl...work that body!!

I just read your last post....awwww....it was so sweet. My son is 9 now and I do miss those days. I swear I just had him! Have fun on the sceeeery thing. I need to do it too! Kristen
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I'm in my mid-forties and it's getting harder and harder to keep the weight off. I had no idea how lucky I was for my first 30-something years when weight was never an issue!
ReplyDeleteoh yes - I just went back to the exercise thing in
ReplyDeleteJan. But I have to go to the YMCA. No way would i have the discipline to do it...down there..good for you. :)
Good for you girl! I need to get my ever growing butt on one of those too. I keep thinking one of these days it's gonna be warm enough to walk outside, so I might as well wait for that, right?? Except I may not be able to fit my butt into shorts!
ReplyDeleteYou're so lucky your husband lets you spray paint in the basement! My husband has this worry about the fumes and the furnace, so I have to wait until it's warm enough to paint in the garage. Have a great day!
Alright, now you've gone and done....made me feel all convicted! Because that's exactly what I'm facing. Walking on a treadmill in a yucky basement staring at a cinder block wall :( But I need to just do it.
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what I have going on in my basement. And the tray of my treadmill has the exact same thing. I may have to still your post idea (if you do not mind). I promised myself to hop back on Monday (by cold/coughing) should be gone by then! You go girl!!!!

ReplyDeleteOur treadmill has a coat of dust on it. That's how much I've been using it lately. I'm a slacker. I'm usually always up before my kids and could easily go jump on it but here I sit glued to my computer. My hubby doesn't let me spray paint in the basement in the winter either. Our basement is finished so I'd have to spray paint right next to our furnace. He doesn't want our house to blow up.
ReplyDeleteLOL - yes, i have bloggy butt too - a side effect to blogging.
ReplyDeleteI am actually jealous of your fitness equipment. Sick, I know :P
ReplyDeleteSeriously though? Looks like you have a good setup there- you've got everything covered! :)
Can't wait to see the new craft!
You can do it!! My butt wants me back too, but it will have to wait until this baby comes out and the doctor says I can exercise again....yeah, I'm going to milk that excuse as long as I can! You are inspiring, though!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work! I have no ambition to excercise even though I have the same butt problem. So kudos to you!
ReplyDeleteFor a minute there, I thought you were showing pictures of my basement! Yours is much better than mine, so don't feel bad! Good for you to be exercising! It's not easy!
ReplyDeleteI used to have a treadmill and thought it would be the most awesome solution, watch TV while I walk. But I always got motion sickness from it.LOL What's up with that????
ReplyDeleteNKOTB will be in Columbus. Is that closer to you??? I checked for tickets in Champaign IL and they were sold out. COME ON!! Guess I'm not going. :(
I'm scared for you. Good luck and don't hurt yourself. Blogging is much safer!
ReplyDeleteWinter always does it, piles up the pounds. Time for those walks and back to the gym. Good luck. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteat least your gym equipment is hiddenin the basement. Hubby wants to "proudly display" ours in the new house in the FROG/media room." Oh well. At leat I can watch "Shag" in widescreen while making friends with the treadmill.
ReplyDeleteOh, this post is hilarious! I've developed a computer butt too, but I blame that on sitting at a computer for 8+ hours a day at work....not chimichangas or cheeseburgers.
ReplyDeleteI actually just bought a treadmill that's sitting quite prominently in the corner of my living room, right next to the fireplace (attractive, huh?). You may have just inspired me to carve out that 20-30 minutes in my day to use it.
Thanks girl!
A bloggy butt... LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl... stay on that treadmill! I love all the stuff you gotta have - I'm the same way. That's why I dont like to run in the natural air... where would I put all my gadgets I need?
First of all... NKOTB... hilarious! I knew I liked you! And I'm really looking forward to the springy craft. I still have big red wreath on the front door. I'm ready for something new but need some inspiration! Can't wait! :)
ReplyDelete~Jill
I've got to get my butt back! ha! love it
ReplyDeleteI can sooo relate to this. First to the scary dungeon-esque basement. (ours is far worse). Second to the lonely treadmill. Our is in the dining room because we don't have room anywhere else...that is until we move into our new house soon!!! Excitement aside, I have a hard time getting on ours with the boys, but I'm determined to lose this baby weight!
ReplyDeleteHooray for you!!! I have a treadmill and bike in my basement that are about ready for their photo shoot for Craigslist. I just don't have the will power to get down there on my own. The gym keeps me accountable especially now that I'm working with a personal trainer. I'm so sore I can barely lift my purse, but let's hope it's worth it!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck with your exercise regime.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! You will feel so much better in the long run. I joined a local gym a year ago and went 4 days a week at 5:15 a.m. before going to work. My husband was very supportive and got the kids up and off to school but I made the decision not to enrol again this year. We bought an exercise bike, some free weights and one day we will buy a treadmill. We set up a 'home gym'in our basement bedroom to save money and most importantly to be here at home with the kids in the morning as we all get ready for school/work together. I needed the local gym to get started and motivated but I think and hope I can do it myself now.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! And the more you work out the more energy you will have to do fun projects to show us!!
ReplyDeletelol, I saw your "bloggy friends" post about your rendezvous! Funny how you both mention it on your blogs. Can't wait to see your project!
ReplyDeleteYour previous post is so precious. I feel like I am right there with you these days. I wish I could bottle it up, instead of taking it all at once. I can't even read that book, though it sits on my shelf, because of how much it makes me cry. Thanks for such a vulnerable post.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I am also right there with you and the exercise. YUCK!!! I am heading back to the gym next week after I get the go-ahead from my doctor. Blah. I will think of you as I climb on that exercise bike!!
Hope everything else is good with you! Have a great weekend! :)
Carrie
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh...Oh, oh, oh, oh...you got the right stuff...in your basement. Wish I had a gym in my basement. I would probably come up with excuses not to use it, the same way I come up with excuses not to use my current gym membership. I hear ya...reading all these amazing blogs is addicting!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSarah, I really enjoy your blog and sense of style. It is always fun to see what you are up to and all the great ideas you have and decorating tips. I was encouraged to hang some molding around our windows and to make some valances for our breakfast room. I would love for you to come by and take a look. Thanks for the inspiration, Bonnie
ReplyDeletei think listening to nkotb while you workout triples calories burned. i know i heard that somewhere. keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteGood for you, I'm waiting for the weather to get warm to start walking....and then I'm sure I'll come up with another excuse..
ReplyDeleteYou can do it! Rah-Rah-Rah!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I was never a cheereleader. Hope it helped!
Now the question is: Old school NKOTB, or the more recent stuff?
Classic hotness or new weirdness?
I am 2 pounds away from joining a gym...so help me...I will do it!
ReplyDeleteNot working full time makes you soft...that's what I've decided.
I have bloggy butt too. Definitely time to do some working on the elliptical. :) Thanks for the inspiration to "just do it." :)
ReplyDeleteYou can do it! Can you blog and work out at the same time? :)
ReplyDeleteYou go girly!!! Good for you. Sadly I have bloggers butt too!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say hello and wish you well on the new "butt". I sooooo want my college one back. It was cute!!! Have a great upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteOhhh My gosh i love the whale-birds! My name is Samantha and I found your blog from a friends! I love how creative you are. I am in Misawa Japan With my husband. We are in the Navy and I am always looking for better ways to fix up and organize our stuff! I love the jar idea for your pantry! Thank you for having this blog!
ReplyDeleteYikes. Sorry, way too terrifying for this fat butt.....
ReplyDeleteIf we could blog and jog at the same time, that would be AWESOME. I like Britney myself, but the New Kids are equally work-out-to-able.
ReplyDeletei have to hit my treadmill too! UGH!
