What’s funny is I think my husband may be almost as busy “retired” as he was teaching – he’s got so many projects and organizations he’ll be working with. It’s already started!
This month's before and after shares are amazing, as usual! Rachel’s home was beautiful before but now it’s simply stunning:

I love it! Just lovely. Go here to see more on the transformation and the landscaping!
I have seen a lot of paint swatch art but Fabrizia’s was the coolest so far:

She said it didn’t take long and it makes such an impact! Art is usually so expensive – this is just the opposite!
OH my goodness, I was drooling over Courtney’s bathroom redo:

Just…seriously? Awesome. They DIY’d this too! Totally impressed.
Rebecca took a cast off piece of furniture and gave it a FUN color:

I don’t if I’d be brave enough for yellow but it is perfect in her home! She always rocks it.
I love how Brandi took an older sofa (that is perfectly nice and comfy) and made it look so different with modern pillows:

I love EVERY single pillow – what a great combo! She mixed patterns perfectly.
Cindy is pretty much an awesome mom – she helped her kids paint their kitchen cabinets and it turned out SO GOOD!:

I am digging the two colors – it is so modern and fresh! Want to come to my house next Cindy??
Kammy created a beautiful room for her daughter – all the details are just lovely:

That floor is especially amazing, isn’t it?
And the last one, but I could have kept going! I loved the kitchen over at Create Bake Celebrate – especially this armoire and the stone backsplash:

I have an obsession with anything x’d lately. Love that cabinet!

Thanks for hosting, Sarah! Have a fantastic day!
ReplyDeleteTurning into a sloth sounds like a great plan for the summer! Wish I could, but since I still have 2 kids at home and I'm training for another 1/2 marathon, there will be no sloth time in my near future. Enjoy your summer! Thanks so much for hosting!

You can call me a dork, but I am SO proud of you for taking a sorta break for the summer! It's so hard to do and you probably feel like you're letting your 5 million fans (I'm sure it's more than that, though ;) down, but it's your life and your summer! I hope you have a great one.:)
ReplyDeleteWOW! So since this party is so awesome that I actually put it on my monthly paper calendar, do you have any idea how exciting is to get featured here?! Thanks, Sarah!!! And congrats on the hubby's retirement. He's a handsome man with kindness that just spill out of his face. :)

ReplyDeleteWhat the what??? I can't believe you included my silly lil' hutch next to all these legit before and afters (I'm looking at you, Miss Cindy ala Cottage Instincts) Hope you have the slothiest, most relaxing summer ever. I've simultaneously vowed to do nothing *and* finish (start?) 2 rooms by the time school starts. It will be no surprise to anyone which option will win out.
ReplyDeleteHey thanks for the feature! I keep seeing my kid's kitchen all over the place, and everytime I see it I'm like "that looks cool"...then realize 'doh, I did that'. And I'd love to come to your house any old time....you realize I live in Fort Wayne and come to Carmel/Fishers twice a month. Be careful what you ask for. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteSoooooo. Great party. I got nothin' this month but a little side table love.
Thanks for the party! Hope you enjoyed that nap. Naps are the best :)

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your husband on his retirement! I hope he enjoys every minute of his freedom from work. My mom retired from teaching six years ago and says that she has no idea how she ever had enough time to work!
Well, shoot, I'm late to the party- thanks for keeping the lights on for me! :D
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, thank you so much for the feature! I'm super honored. :) Take care!
