We'll start with the most basic lighting, these accent solar lights. I've placed them along a couple of our tree lines in the backyard:

When I first purchased these years ago, I worried the solar panel would bother me. We don't even notice it during the day though! 

I like that these are so easy to adjust -- the head moves around easily to point lower on the ground for pathway lighting, or up along taller trees. 

Solar lights like these are great because as your bushes and trees grow, you can easily move them around. 

They aren't CRAZY bright, but are more than sufficient for soft accent lighting: 

A few years ago I started adding these super fun starburst solar lights to our backyard landscaping as well. 

They are very discreet -- you'll barely notice them during the day. There's a small solar panel on the metal pole and the LED lights are tiny. Once you mingle them with plants, they don't show up much: 

But at night they are SO fun and whimsical: 

I absolutely LOVE these delicate lights -- I tuck them into the trees (with the solar panel facing out) and they are precious at night. 

Speaking of pretty little lights, we've had these solar twinkling light strands wrapped around our backyard arbors for years: 

These particular strands are a warm white (I prefer that for outdoors) and are 80 feet long. 

I wrapped them around our metal arbors off of our circular fire pit:

There are eight lighting modes -- so you can keep them on constantly, or twinkle, slow fade, whatever. 

Our most recent purchase is one I wasn't sure about at first, but they are actually really cool! 

We have a plenty of actual tiki torches around the yard to help with bugs at night. These solar tiki torches are just FUN and give you the look of the fire without all of the mess. 

They don't look like much during the day:

But at night they truly look like there's real fire inside. We were at a neighbor's recently and she saw these "lit up" through the yards and was confused that we had fires going when we weren't home. 😁

Of course they don't keep the mosquitoes away, but if you're just looking for a fun lighting addition to your yard, these are great!

The only thing is, I wish they were a bit taller. They are much shorter than our actual torches, I'd say around three feet tall? 

We've had all of these items in our yard for a year to multiple years and they've all held up wonderfully. I can personally attest for all of them! If you're looking to add some pretty lighting to your yard without any work, I highly recommend all of these solar lighting options.
