This is the part where I go through all the boring stuff. :) Here we go...
I accept paid sidebar advertising and giveaways. I am also occasionally involved in promotions with national businesses. I will always be completely transparent with readers when I post about all of the above. At this time I do not accept text links, link exchanges or guest posts.
I carefully pick the blogs on my blogroll based on the age of the blog (more than a year old), how often the author posts, if the content is worthwhile to my readers and if I'm personally a fan of the site.
At your own risk:
The purpose of this blog is to encourage and empower my readers. I hope you will try new techniques, new tools and give new life to old pieces. Before you do so, I want to emphasize how important it is to research and learn as much as possible about the project at hand before you dive in -- especially when it concerns using power tools. If you are in doubt, please don't use Thrifty Decor Chick as your only reference. Use the necessary (eye, breathing, hand) protection, and try the projects I blog about at your own risk.
This is the part where I have to say...I accept no responsibility for mishaps, projects gone wrong, injuries to you or anyone in your house...you know the drill.
I SO appreciate your emails! I read every single one. I try very hard to get back to each of you individually, but it's getting harder and harder to do so. Because of the quantity of emails I receive, it's just not possible for me to respond to all of them. I try to add popular questions to my FAQ page, which you can find here.
I share my home and my life with readers, and I believe that deserves respect. I delete all rude or disrespectful comments.
Suggestions and ideas:
I welcome any suggestions for future posts. If you have an idea you think would be worthwhile, a tool you'd like to know more about, whatever -- please email me and let me know!
This blog has been a blessing in more ways than I can count. I am so thankful to my readers, new and old, for your support and encouragement. THANK YOU!
