Hey hey! I’m sorry for that old post showing up this morning! Ha! I didn’t even realize it was there till I started getting comments on it. NO it is not 90 degrees and May here, unfortunately. I was looking for an old paint color in a post from years ago, noticed a link was wrong in the post and then when I saved it, it went live again. So odd. Anyway, back to the cold and snow. (Wah.)
Today is the March before and after link up and wow, you guys did not disappoint last month!! I had to stop at eight features or I would have kept going. As always I am super impressed!
Anne’s mud room built ins had me giddy:
Holy cats. They did such an amazing job. And I LOVE those bright, pretty drapes in the room too. It is just gorgeous. They share the whole process on her blog, go check it out!
Haeley’s simple DIY command center is pretty and was super inexpensive:
The back of your pantry door is such a perfect spot for something like this, or for more storage! If ours wasn’t glass I’d be doing the same.
OK, you will not BELIEVE Lauren’s chairs and how she made them into what they are today:
This is a can’t miss people. She saved hundreds per chair doing this project on her own and they came out so well. I’m incredibly impressed.
Jennifer shared a super simple, no sew way to make your drapes pleated:
It’s kind of brilliant and now I want to do the same! I always use this method I showed you years ago but hers give you true pleats. Love it!
Kammy shared her daughter’s room and you have to check it out because it’s so sweet and pretty:
But also because the before and after is so dramatic – she did such a beautiful job on this space!
Leah’s living room is so fresh and bright – and so cozy too:
It reminded me of spring, which I really need right now. ;)
I’ve shared this easy way to renew your grout before, but I think it’s worth sharing over and over again. Jennifer shares the process here:
If you have tile that is in good shape with yucky grout, this will make a huge difference!
And last but not least, Laura completed her office redo and I LOVE the accents she created with the wallpaper:
I love using blue, especially a deeper navy blue like this. Which is funny, because about six years ago you would not have found one bit of blue in our house. None!
OK, it’s time to see what you’ve been up to lately! If you’d like to be considered for a highlight next month, please include a link to TDC or copy and paste this into your post:

Now go ahead and link it up!
Thanks so much for hosting! :)

ReplyDeletehad a good laugh, after I read it was 93 in Indy I went to the weather channel because we are in the Midwest too and it was cold and snowy. I thought there is no way that can be right! ReplyDeleteI've done the same thing, updated an old post and had it go live. I wish it were 90 here, too! Thanks for sharing my drapes! I can't wait to check out the others. I dyed the grout in my bathroom last month and I was floored (sorry) at the difference.
